Master's Program

Master’s Program

The Master’s program prepares students for a wide range of consulting and applied research positions in private industry and government and teaching positions in two-year and other colleges for which a PhD is not required. Professionals involved in policy-related fields often benefit greatly from master’s level training in economics. The Master’s degree also offers outstanding training for students interested in pursuing a PhD, but who are not quite prepared for a PhD program. Both thesis and non-thesis options are available and are generally completed in less than two years.
