As travel becomes more expensive... Financial constraints at the university necessitate that we carefully monitor all expenses associated with running a seminar series. Thus, we appreciate when visitors are mindful of potential discounts associated with early-morning flights and with booking flights 30 days in advance of traveling. As a department, we routinely cover the expenses associated with two nights of accommodation in Eugene. If for any reason you face any awkward tradeoffs, please advise your host.


By air...

Eugene Airport (EUG) is served by most of the major carriers and enjoys non-stop service from Denver, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Portland, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, and Seattle.

There are not always taxis awaiting your arrival at the airport... if the driver does not know where our building is, tell him/her to take you to 14th and Kincaid. We are in the tall building in front of where you are let out.
